Margaret Meneghel

Margaret Meneghel is an abstract artist living in Perth, whose artwork captures the unique WA landscapes and seascapes through a joyful use of colour and textures. She works predominantly with acrylic paint on cotton canvas using a range of tools to create depth and texture. The latest inspiration for Margaret’s work came from being confined during our border closures. Through her abstract approach, the aesthetics, mood and culture of WA is captured. Vibrant colour, texture and layering techniques are used to achieve this. Her work reflects a snapshot in WA's history where we had time to focus solely on the unique, wild, vibrant and joyful beauty of WA.
